WELCOME TO PARADISE!
Whether your picture of paradise is a day on the roller coaster or a day at the
beach, Southern California is all that you imagined and more. Amusement
Parks, world-famous beaches, renowned wineries, museums, art galleries,
and a rich history of Hollywood culture and couture await you in the
state that is arguably the best place to hang out and hang ten. And
Anaheim is in the center of it all, centrally located and geographically
close to the very best that Southern California has to offer.
Orange County
When it comes to the county made famous by at least one major movie and
television series- only a first hand experience will do. Much fuss has
been made about the county halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego,
and it’s no wonder. It’s the home of a recent World-Series winning
baseball team and Stanley-Cup winning hockey team. It boasts
European-esque beaches and quaint, charming beach towns that are both
thriving art communities and sleepy surfer havens. It’s the home of
Disneyland Resort, the original “happiest place on earth,” and Laguna
Beach, voted one of the top ten beaches in America by MSN and AOL.
Orange County is also home to the City of Orange, where you can shop for
antiques in Old Towne Orange - a charming blast from the past. And just
south of Anaheim, the expansive South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa is a
shopper’s paradise, Newport Harbor is the perfect place to set sail or
hop a boat to Catalina, and for the history buff, the beautiful San Juan
Capistrano Mission charms as much as it educates.

Los Angeles
Anaheim is a mere 26 miles from the
entertainment capital of the world – Los Angeles. Enjoy a quintessential
beach bum experience at Santa Monica Pier or Malibu, or stroll and shop
on Rodeo Drive. Visit the back lots and movie sets of film classics at
Universal Studios Hollywood, or be a part of the studio audience at your
favorite sitcom or talk show. Fly on no fewer than 16 roller coasters at
Six Flags Magic Mountain, or enjoy the finer arts at the LA County
Museum of Art, the Getty, and the famous Griffith Observatory. When the
day winds down, Los Angeles has some of the best and varied dining in
the world, not to mention concerts, comedy clubs, and night clubs.

Other Attractions
An hour and a half south, you’ll
find San Diego and its many charms, from Old Town to Sea World, Point
Loma Lighthouse, pristine beaches, and shopping and dining. A beautiful,
winding drive north up the coast will eventually take you to Santa
Barbara – where pristine beaches and lush wineries collide – and you’ll
pass plenty of charming beachside towns along the way. Slightly
Northeast of S.B. you’ll find Paso Robles – the home of Pinot Noir made
famous in the movie “Sideways”. If you delight in history then check
out the nearby Hearst Castle, one of the largest historic house museums
in the U.S.
Whether it’s amusement, beaches,
shopping, history or wine, Southern California has it, and more.
